To Fargo and Pops Comes to Visit

I am about a month behind but catching up, sorry for the delay. We 3 were in St. Louis for Christmas and then had to go the Fargo for Drill. More to come soon, love to all Elizabeth

Who is the coolest cat around??

These are from the beginning of December. We went Fargo for Drill and while we were ther it snowed for 12 hrs. We/they got 6 in. in that time!! I was so glad the our little blue Honda Civic is AWD because I sure needed it. The snow removal men didn't start removing the snow until it had started to slow down and by that time there was ALOT of snow on the ground!! All this to say that it was Lochlan's first introduction to snow and I wanted John to be able to have that honor, so we bundled up and went to see "Dada" at the Drill Center.

What is all this white stuff??

Whenever I am in Fargo Lochlan and I visit Crystal and her son Hunter!! We love being able to catch up and compare notes. The boys are starting to notice each other and want to interact! It is son fun to watch them. Lochlan was able to give his first Christmas gift to Hunter! So fun!! Crystal is due on the 27th with her 2nd, a little girl, Natalie Nicole.

Lochlan is a pretty good traveler, but he starts to get antsy the last part of our trip home and if the sun is in his face. We had to rig snugglie up so that he was Lochlan's sunscreen on the way to Fargo. When Lochlan starts to get antsy on the way home, that is when the "Mama Theater" opens for business.

Pops came to stay with us for about a week so that he and John could go Pheasant hunting and Pops could watch Lochlan while John and I went to Firefighter "B shift's" Christmas Party. We had a great time while Pops visited. Lochlan found that his finger fits into his nose and was fascinated by that for a day. He is also starting to crawl and loves to stand up next to the chest and pull whatever is on there off!! He also had a great time crawling about naked before bath time. Lochlan loved playing with Abe's cage and watching the fish tank!!

After the Thanksgiving Crazy back to normal...

Who is this character???

The day after Mom, Dad, and Rebekah had to return to Bloomington and St. Louis Lochlan and I went to see Santa in the Mall. Lochlan was not that pleased to sit with the man in red. He would not smile to save his life!!! He was so serious. John was working, so he didn't get to come with us.

I am still not sure if this is OK...

Before we left to go to the mall I thought I would try some shoes on Lochlan. He hated them!!! It was so funny to watch him struggle to hurl off the shoes that I got it on tape. Enjoy!!
